Dear Body,
Today is probably a little confusing. For the first time in three months, you aren’t being injected with poisonous chemicals. This is not a fluke! Chemo is done with you. It’s an official break up. Why are there still repercussions? Why are you acting like you’re still in this relationship? It is time to let go and move on!
Sick and tired of waiting,
Lisa

This morning I realized it was Friday and Lisa doesn’t have to have any chemo today! Yay! Might take a while yet for your body to get the message, but hoping the coming week will be better than the past many weeks and that each day brings you restored appetite, less fatigue, and a return to somewhat “normal”. Looking forward to hearing that you are ready to enjoy some of your favorite foods again! Hugs xo
Good point Lisa’s body 😉
It sounds as if you have a very determined body with a mind of its own. Perhaps a few stern conversations with this unruly woman will be the answer. Until you are “master of your own domain” this other body may be a bit of a problem. Considering what you have achieved over the past 6 months I am confident you will come out on top.
Take Care!!!
Break ups happen because there is something bigger and better for you, and you need to make room for it. I’m looking forward to great things to come.
