While laying (lying?) on the radiation table yesterday, I had a thought. So much technology and hardware are involved with radiation. How often does something not work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cue a phone call I got just now. Today\u2019s session is cancelled because the machine isn\u2019t working. The session will now be added to the end. Any more delays, and my treatment will extend into June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hope it\u2019s fixed by Monday!\u201d I said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey have all weekend to work on it,\u201d was the response. I\u2019m glad the technicians are willing to work on it over the weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking of people who don\u2019t have weekends \u2013 or any days \u2013 off, Happy (early) Mother\u2019s Day! I get to celebrate in person with mine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
