Not only do certain foods taste too sweet, now some are tasting bland. Tonight we had a dinner that\u2019s normally very tasty, but all the different parts tasted the same: bland! I\u2019ve been having trouble finding snacks and other things to eat \u2013 and now this issue is seeping into my meals too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did some Googling, and apparently it can take 1-2 months after chemo for taste buds to return to normal!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Googling, I couldn\u2019t resist looking up other side effects. I found one on <a href=\"http:\/\/breastcancer.org\">breastcancer.org<\/a> on hair loss, which offered a typical timetable for hair regrowth on the head:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3\u20134 weeks after chemotherapy ends: soft fuzz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 month to 6 weeks after: real hair starts to grow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u20133 months after: about an inch of hair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u20136 months: about 2\u20133 inches of hair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12 months: 4\u20136 inches of hair<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So my question is if I already have soft fuzz before chemo is over, does that potentially mean that the real hair might come in sooner once chemo ends? Aaron thinks I\u2019ve moved into the second phase already, but it\u2019s white hair and hard to tell.
