Picture Time!

My eyebrows are slowly growing in, though right now they just look like gray smudges. I discovered if I wear dangling earrings, then my “hair” looks more like a badass lifestyle choice.

I know people have been curious to see what I look like now. Happy to oblige!

  6. Dear Lisa,

You look wonderful. I’m so happy that you seem to be on the other side of this awful beast of a disease.

Last Friday I went for a routine mammogram. The radiologist saw “something” and sent me back for more pictures. You know the feeling…more pictures? What could that mean?

After the consult, it was time for a sonogram. By that time, I realized that I might be getting on the breast cancer “roller coaster.” As I waited for the results of the sonogram, I thought of you. You are an inspiration and I felt that I can follow in your footsteps…both with the science and tenacious battle that you are fighting.

The sonogram showed a cyst which was benign. Thank you for being with me during that half hour. Hopefully, you will turn your blog into a book and let others stand on your shoulders.

Again, I’m so happy for your terrific progress. And, I’m so grateful that you are taking us all on the journey with you.

    Love,
    Marilyn

  7. Aw, thank you! I’m glad I was able to provide support from afar. And I’m so relieved for you that it was benign!!!
